Katy Perry at Grévin!
September 11, 2017

Katy Perry makes her debut at Grévin Montreal!

The world was first introduced to Katy Perry in 2008 when her breakout hit “I Kissed a Girl” was released, and now the popstar joins the ever-expanding Grévin family! Having sold more than 100 million albums worldwide, Katy Perry is considered one of the world’s most influential popstars, which is why she will join music legends such as Céline Dion, Michael Jackson and Lady Gaga in our ballroom.

Sculptor Eric Saint Chaffray and Grévin’s team have spent more than six months trying to honor Perry by making her wax twin. Drawing inspiration from her colorful universe, Katy Perry will pose in one of her iconic Prismatic World Tour outfits.

“We are so excited to welcome Katy Perry to Grévin Montreal. Her wax figure is completely inspired by her colorful pop universe and we are overjoyed with the result. We sincerely hope her fans in Quebec – and all over the world – will be happy!"
– Kathleen Payette, chief executive at Grévin Montreal.

With five successful albums and more than 100 million Twitter followers, Katy Perry was an obvious choice for Grévin Montreal. She is definitely an icon of her generation.

Grévin Montreal is happy to collaborate with Hairdreams to recreate Katy Perry’s impressive mane. The company provides 100% natural hair for professionals worldwide.
