The wax celebrities at Grévin Montreal get the royal treatment! Every morning, before the museum opens, a team of three people examines each celebrity to fix their hair, touch up their makeup, care for their nails and clean their clothing.

Grévin is steeped in family history. The loved ones of our celebrities enjoying meeting the doppelganger of their daughter, mother or father. From Celine Dion’s mother to Charlie Chaplin’s son to the family of Gary Carter and daughter of Gilles Villeneuve, Grévin Montreal is the home to magical moments filled with emotion.

Over 20 experts work on each wax figure: sculptors, hairstylists, makeup artists, moulders and many more. Grévin Montreal features all of the arts!

To make the head of a wax figure, it takes, on average, 15 kg of plaster, 5 litres of wax, 70 tubes of oil paint for makeup and nearly 500,000 natural hairs!

Fred Pellerin put a peppermint candy and a guitar pick in the pocket of his wax figure before it was sewn up. The figure’s neck warmer was even made by his mom!

Harrison Ford changes his costumes. You can meet him as Indiana Jones or Han Solo.

The Little Prince is displayed on his asteroid, along with his friends the Fox and the Rose. With their impeccable attention to detail, Grévin artists even sculpted the face of the wax rose.
