Our stars of the ball

Céline Dion

Céline Dion

Celine Dion is a Québec singer now considered one of the most influential voices of pop music around the world. She had almost immediate success in Québec in 1981 with the song Ce n'était qu'un rêve. She became a worldwide celebrity in the 1990s. She is the most-exported Canadian artist of all time, and is one of the top record-selling performers in the world.

David Bowie

World icon of music, fashion and film, David Bowie has given 9 shows in Montreal during his prolific career. David Bowie has survived the decades and establish himself as one of the mythical artists of his generation.

Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga is an American singer-songwriter and actress. She broke out as a pop singer after the release of her debut album, The Fame in 2008. Her albums have since earned phenomenal success, both commercially and critically. Lady Gaga is known for her flamboyant eccentricities that she conveys to the music industry through fashion, performance and music videos.

Guylaine Tremblay

Guylaine Tremblay

Guylaine Tremblay is a Quebec actress from Charlevoix. It was during the 1990s that she became popular with the general public with her role as Caro Paré in the series La petite vie. She is now one of the most popular theatre, film and television actresses in Quebec thanks to her roles in the series Annie et ses hommes and Unité 9.

George Clooney

George Clooney

This seductive character became famous when he put on Dr. Doug Ross's white coat in the ER series, before becoming a great hit with Steven Soderbergh's Ocean trilogy. Thanks to the Cohen brothers’ movie O’Brother, Where Art Thou?, he was awarded the Golden Globe for Best actor in 2001. George has also worn both a director's and a producer’s cap. Dubbed “the sexiest man alive” by the weekly People, he is often involved in humane and political activities. He did not hesitate to make use of his popularity in order to raise funds for victims of September 11, of the Japanese tsunami, and of the Darfour conflict. His model was created solely from photographs and videos, a real challenge when it comes to determining volumes. But this challenge was met hands down by the Grévin team, as can be seen from the disturbing likeness of the model to its original.

what a surprising treat in an unusual location

we enjoyed our tour of the Grévin. The people look so realistic, and there are several floors with various famous individuals, from pioneers to political figures to sports stars to pop culture stars (singers, actors/actresses, etc). Everyone from young kids to older adults will enjoy this wax museum. The opening light show was a bit strange and out of place, but the rest of the self-guided tour was fantastic.

À faire et refaire

J’ai visité ce musée en famille. Les personnages en cire frôlent l’état réel. J’ai apprécié le professionnalisme des équipes. Je vous le conseille vivement si vous cherchez à rencontrer vos célébrités préférées.

The closest I'll ever get to Hollywood stars!

Beautifully-made waxed stars. It's like being at the Oscars. My favorites were Prime Minister Pierre Elliot Trudeau and Hughe Laurie. They were best.
