Born on August 30th, 1972
At the age of 16, Cameron Diaz was a model. Five years later, she was acting in The Mask, along with Jim Carrey… The film was an international success. Despite this, the humble beginner turned to the American independent cinema industry, and starred in modest films such as She's the one, and A life less ordinary. In 1998, she startled everyone by displaying her comic potential in There's something about Mary, and became a world star. But this cute blonde did not limit herself to playing a charming idiot in comic films. She was perfectly ready to downgrade her glamorous image by uglifying herself in Being John Malkovich. And in 2009, she showed that she can act convincingly in serious roles, as in the dramatic film My Sister's Keeper. Now in the 20th year of her movie career, this beautiful actress has already made 52 films and has been nominated four times for a Golden Globe.
