Born on May 6th, 1961
American actor, director and producer
This seductive character became famous when he put on Dr. Doug Ross's white coat in the ER series, before becoming a great hit with Steven Soderbergh's Ocean trilogy. Thanks to the Cohen brothers’ movie O’Brother, Where Art Thou?, he was awarded the Golden Globe for Best actor in 2001. George has also worn both a director's and a producer’s cap. Dubbed “the sexiest man alive” by the weekly People, he is often involved in humane and political activities. He did not hesitate to make use of his popularity in order to raise funds for victims of September 11, of the Japanese tsunami, and of the Darfour conflict. His model was created solely from photographs and videos, a real challenge when it comes to determining volumes. But this challenge was met hands down by the Grévin team, as can be seen from the disturbing likeness of the model to its original.
