Gilles Villeneuve is considered by many to be the best Canadian racing driver ever. He drove for the Ferrari team from 1977 to 1982 and won an impressive six Grand Prix championships. His aggressive racing technique and flamboyant driving style made him a fierce competitor. He still ranks among the Top Ten racing drivers of all time despite his relatively short career. Villeneuve died in a car crash while qualifying for the 1982 Belgian Grand Prix. He remains a Formula One legend to this day.
