John Lennon

October 9th, 1940 - December 8th, 1980

English musician and singer

Founder, along with Paul McCartney, of the Beatles, John Lennon together with Paul wrote most of their songs. In the days when Beatlemania swept the world, it was he who was the central pivot of the group.

John is also seen as the artist who best embodied the Peace & Love movement of the Sixties and Seventies. His first single solo Give Peace a Chance was recorded in Montréal in 1969.
