French TV and radio host
Born in Normandy in 1942, Michel Drucker has been a well-known French television and radio celebrity for half a century. He joined the Office de Radiodiffusion Télévision Française (French Radio and Television Board) in 1965. Drucker developed a passion for sports commentating early on and became the official voice of European football (soccer) games, known for his hard work and dedication. He also hosted many successful variety shows – including Tilt, Studio Gabriel, Champs Elysées and Vivement Dimanche – which made him a household name in all French-speaking countries.
